Is it good or bad or does it depend on the user?
Technology has a wide range of benefits and is very indispensable in our daily lives. From the moment we wake up, we check our phone to read messages, see what plans we do have for the day, check the weather forecast, and so on. These are just some of the multitudinous benefits that technology serves us. On the other hand, we must take into consideration that technological advancements also pave the way for corruption, mishandling and mismanagement.
As technology advances, a lot of opportunities also open for the wicked people to manipulate technology and use it in evil ways. For instance, mobile banking. Mobile banking is a grand avenue for many people to enter transactions since it will lessen the need of going to a physical bank but cybercriminals may also use this opportunity to rob and steal money from people through phishing.
Technology is not good or bad. It is neutral. It will provide advantages if we use it in a good way. It will reap wickedness if we use it badly. It depends on how we, people, use it. It is in the hands of us, humans, whether technology can make or break us.
